Her leadership in the industry is evident through her tenure as Past President and Vice President of the Douglas Association of Realtors, reflecting her dedication to enhancing the real estate profession.
Passionate about guiding her clients through the home-buying journey, Vanessa places a strong emphasis on education, ensuring that her clients feel informed and empowered throughout the process.
Outside of her professional life, Vanessa has been happily married to her high school sweetheart, Fernando De La Riva, for 26 years. Together, they are proud parents to three beautiful children. Vanessa has lived in a variety of locales, including El Paso, TX; Oceanside, CA; Douglas, AZ; and Artesia, NM.

She developed a profound affection for Artesia in 2008, while Fernando served as an instructor at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. The community's spirit of giving back, strong focus on children, and the excitement of Friday night football games deeply resonated with her. With values closely aligned with those of Artesia—God, Family, and Country.
